McMinnville resident, Thomas Walker Pedigo, 77, died Dec. 18 at his home. An account manager for J.D. Mullican Construction and later employed with Carrier, he was a member of Smartt Church of Christ. He served his country in the U.S. Army as a sergeant during the Korean War with service in Germany. He was a life member of the VFW AmVets and American Legion. He spent his life writing, recording and publishing songs and was a lifetime member of Chattanooga Music Union Local 80 and a lifetime member of the Country Music Association.

Mary Rebecca (Becky) Rogers He was preceded in death by parents, Walter and Lou Anna (Moore) Pedigo and one infant sister. Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Love-Cantrell & Cope Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Vinson officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory. Visitation will be held today from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Love-Cantrell & Cope Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Smartt Church of Christ in Mr. Pedigo’s name.
